How to make delicious donuts at home

It’s hard to resist not only children, but also adults with golden donuts with a delicious crispy crust. To prepare a sweet dessert for family tea drinking, it is not necessary to have an innate culinary talent - the main thing is to have the necessary products on hand and the desire to surprise an incredibly delicious dish with your loved ones.

Ingredients and recommendations

To prepare tender and airy donuts, you will need very little free time and simple products that are present in every kitchen:

  • kefir - 300 ml;
  • chicken egg - 1 piece;
  • granulated sugar - 2 tbsp. l;
  • pressed yeast - 15 g;
  • salt - a pinch;
  • wheat flour - 200-350 gr;
  • vegetable oil - for frying;
  • vanillin - to taste.

Kefir must be at room temperature. Alternatively, you can use fresh cow's milk. Pressed yeast works better than dry yeast, so if possible, try to give preference to them.

Cooking technology

Kefir is poured into a clean dish, yeast is added and kneading them well so that they are completely dissolved. Then sugar, vanillin, salt, egg are added and everything is mixed until a homogeneous consistency. When the liquid base is ready, pour in the flour and knead a soft, elastic dough. Before you cover the finished dough with cling film, it is recommended to grease it with vegetable oil on top. Leave for about 1-1.5 hours.

When the dough comes up, it is crushed, cut into pieces and formed into rings, laying them on a baking sheet sprinkled with flour. Donuts are gently lowered into the heated oil and fried on both sides until a beautiful golden crust forms. Before serving, donuts are sprinkled with powdered sugar.
