Kinetic or inertia-free hammer is mainly used in body repair. The difference between this tool and a simple hammer lies in the arrangement of its head, which is a cylinder partially filled with shot. The kinetic hammer, unlike the usual one, does not bounce off the surface upon impact, because the inertia is quenched by the bulk filler in its body.

You can make a non-inertia hammer yourself, for this a piece of pipe and a hunting shot are suitable.
