For this homemade homemade product, you will need four standard corks from plastic bottles for carbonated drinks, nine wooden sticks with pointed ends, copper wire, a spool of thread, a finger-type rechargeable battery, a flexible silicone hose and two round neodymium magnets.

As the main element for the manufacture of a home-made engine will be used reed switch, which is a glass sealed flask with ferromagnetic contacts inside. You will also need a capacitor installed parallel to the reed switch, which will extinguish the electric arc formed at the moment of opening of the contacts.

The main stages of work

On a wooden coil, you need to wind insulating paper, then copper wire, and on top several layers of electrical tape, and remove the contacts (plus and minus). In a wooden stick, drill a hole in the middle and insert a metal skewer (or a piece of nail), on the edges of which you need to put on two pieces of a flexible silicone hose.

Next, we make holes in the four covers (on the sides and in the center), and fasten them with wooden sticks. Vertical racks are connected by a central stick with pieces of flexible hose - in the end, you should get a design with a "pendulum" that resembles a pyramid in shape. Neodymium magnets are attached to the edges of the pendulum.

At the last stage of work, an electric circuit is assembled from a reed switch, a coil, a spark-extinguishing capacitor, a battery and a toggle switch. Set the electronic “stuffing” inside the pyramid, switch the toggle switch and start the engine. The detailed process of manufacturing and assembling a homemade reed switch can be found in the video on the website.
