Volume paper bow

A voluminous bow made of paper with your own hands will come in handy when making gifts - it will give the packaging an unusual, original look, will complement the postcards, envelopes.

The execution technique is quite simple, similar to origami. The only difference is that in some places notches will be required. The whole manufacturing procedure will take no more than twenty minutes, only a sheet of paper is required from the materials.
We take a square from paper with a beautiful face. If ordinary colored paper is available, but you want something interesting, you can add a pattern - on sheet A4, print the necessary pattern on the printer and cut out the square of the desired size. I took a side length of 19 cm and got a rather large bow, measuring 11 cm by 13 cm. If you want less, cut a smaller square.

We arrange the sheet with the wrong side up.

We bend in half, face inward, turn back, rotate 90 degrees and bend in the same way. We get two bends.

Now we are again deploying and bending diagonally, to the other side. Straighten.

We add such a figure (those who had previously made similar models of paper, probably learned the basic form of origami "double square").

We arrange in the form of a rhombus and bend the upper triangle down.

Expand the sheet to its original state.

We make the center folds forming a square.

We bend the sides, flatten and get such a figure.

We bend the upper parts.

Turn over and bend in the same way.

We begin to unbend the design.

Gently unfold by pulling the ends. If everything is done correctly, a small square should be placed in the center of the sheet. The figure is already somewhat like a bow.

Turn over to work with the wrong side. We make cuts with scissors along the lines drawn in the photo - only 4 cuts.

We bend the upper part down.

To the left and right, we bend the triangles to the horizontal fold line.

At the central part, we bend two triangles in the same way as shown in the photo.

Cut the middle along the fold line.

We bend two parts so that the bow has beautiful and proportional ends.

Turn over.

It remains only to bend the right and left triangle to the middle, and the voluminous bow made of paper is ready!

The use of glue is not required here. We made our own graceful decoration for the holiday. You can leave it voluminous, but you can flatten it. It looks beautiful if glue rhinestones and sequins on the middle.
