Sewing toys for your children is a very exciting activity. The child will always appreciate your efforts and will be happy to play with a new toy.
To make a toy we need:
  • Children's plain tights.
  • Big scissors.
  • Sintepon or other filler.
  • Piece of chalk.
  • Needle.
  • Blue or black thread.
  • Long knitting needle.
  • Silver fabric contour.
  • Two buttons in black or any other color.

We take children's tights. You can take new tights, but I took our children's little tights. Scissors cut off one head approximately on the knee. This will be the torso and legs of our toy in the future.

Take a cut piece of tights and align it well, so that the heel is behind. Next, draw with chalk in the middle of the strip, so that later we get the same legs. We cut the tights in half with scissors, but not to the very end, but as shown in the photo, leave a little space for the torso. So that the legs of the monkey were not square, but rounded, it is necessary to trim the edges of the tights with scissors.

Now we thread the needle and begin to sew the legs of the future monkey. Sewing is necessary very tightly so that the thread does not break and the filler does not come out of the toy in the future. So, the body is sewn, we turn it. Now you can fill it with padding polyester. You can take any other filler for the filler. Even dry grass, and then the toy will have a good and pleasant aroma.

In order to push the filler into the legs, I used a knitting needle, but you can take any long pencil or pen. When the body of the toy is tightly packed with filler, it needs to be sewn.

Next, we start cutting out other parts of the toy. We equalize the second galosh at the pantyhose and cut out the ears from it, and the heel will be the monkey's face. We sew, twist the small squares from which we will make the ears, then completely stuff them with a synthetic winterizer and sew the toys at the same distance with a needle to the body.

Now we take the cut off piece of the heel, fold it and stitch it to the middle. Then, through the non-stitched hole, we fill the muzzle with a synthetic winterizer and sew completely. Next, attach the muzzle to the monkey’s body and sew it on both sides.

Here, further from the pantyhose we cut off two identical stripes, but not long ones - these will be the hands of the monkey. We do the same as with the legs - first we sew, then we fill it with a padding polyester and sew it to the body.

It seems like a monkey is ready, but how will it be without clothes? From an old T-shirt, I cut a small square of fabric. She drew the outline of a T-shirt to fit my toy. I cut and sewed a small pink T-shirt for a monkey.

From fabric to peas, I sewed pants for her. To do this, I also drew a contour of the trousers on a piece of fabric, cut and sewed them. The trousers in my belt turned out to be wide. So, after I put them on a monkey, I sewed trousers to a toy in my belt and legs.

Then I wanted to make a hat and socks for her. I took thin multi-colored threads and crocheted, knitting in a circle, knitted a hat to a monkey. She knitted socks on the same principle. I put on all the associated items of clothing on the toy and sewn them well so that they would not go away.

It remains only to draw a contour on the monkey nose and mouth. And that's it, you can give your child to play with a new toy.
