If you often relax with friends in nature: in the country or somewhere outside the city, or, for example, prefer to go fishing with an overnight stay, then whipping up a Finnish candle (it is often called "turbopen"), you can quickly to cook or reheat already prepared camp food, and also boil water for soup or tea.
With the help of the Finnish candle you can quickly warm up in cold weather (even during rain), and it can still act as a lighting "device" in the dark.
You can make such a mini-fire with your own hands in three ways - that is, the base will be the same (this is a stump or a log with a diameter of 30-40 cm), but you can use different tools for this:

The main stages of work
The first option for making a Finnish candle is with an electric or chainsaw. We make three cuts almost to the very bottom, so that in the end we get six “slices”. Three stones can be used to install the pot.
Now let's try to make a Finnish candle with a screwdriver. First, drill a hole in the center with a pen drill, and then another side log, closer to the bottom edge. To install a pot, you need to hammer three nails into the upper part.
And the third option is with an ordinary ax. It is necessary to split the log into six parts, and then choose the middle, cutting off the sharp edges a little. Then we “collect” the log back and tie it with wire.
