With this device you can not only quickly and conveniently transport large doors, but also move other building materials (for example, sheets of plywood, OSB, drywall, etc.) along asphalt, dirt roads and even grass.

Manufacturing process

For this homemade work you will need to use two small wheels (for example, from freight carts), a channel piece of at least 28 cm in length, a long pin and four nuts for it, as well as a U-shaped piece of steel bar.
To begin with, we take a welding machine and weld a pin to the bottom of the channel (in the center), and a steel bar to one of its faces - this will be the handle for carrying the mini-cart. Two nuts must be screwed onto the stud close to the edges of the channel.

All places of welds must be cleaned with a grinder. The surface of the channel itself also needs to be well cleaned, and then painted to protect it from rust. Next, we put the wheels on the ends of the studs and fix them with the remaining nuts.

Practical use

Such a mini-cart will come in handy at any summer cottage, and will also be appropriate in the territory of a private house - now you can not ask neighbors or friends to move the door or large sheets of plywood. With the help of this device you can do it yourself, without fear of tearing your back or injuring yourself.

Due to its compact size and high ground clearance, such a mini-trolley will travel on any roads and even off-road. See the step-by-step manufacturing process in the video on our website.
