Useful things for a garage or home workshop can often be made even from unnecessary scraps of building materials. For example, you can make a convenient stand for a tool from scraps of PVC windowsill (drills, mills, saw blades, screwdrivers, etc.).

The first step is to mark out a piece of window sill and cut it into pieces. Please note that each piece should be 2 cm larger than the previous one. By the way, the width of the PVC window sill is 30 cm.

After cutting the workpiece, it is necessary to clean the edges so that there are no burrs. At this stage, pieces of the windowsill can still be set aside.

Step-by-step stand manufacturing process

First of all, it is necessary to cut blanks from a piece of plywood of suitable thickness. After that, from the resulting planks, it will be necessary to assemble a small box.

Please note that the dimensions should be selected so that the trimmed PVC window sill fit inside the box.

The master decided to paint the finished box with varnish to make it look more attractive. Then it must be mounted on a wall or other vertical surface.

At the last stage, it remains only to insert the trim of the window sill inside the box, and the tool "scatter" into the cells.

For details on how to assemble a makeshift tool holder from pieces from the windowsill, see the video on the website.
