In a small home workshop (especially in the garage), any furniture that is there should be as practical as possible and take up as little space as possible.

In this review, the author offers a great idea: to make a massive and durable desktop with drawers, which are needed to store the tool and various small things.

The design of the table is quite simple, but at the same time very convenient. And the materials for its manufacture will require the simplest - this is metal and wood.

The main stages of work

The first step is to cut the workpieces from the profile pipe. Then from them it will be necessary to weld two side parts of the metal frame of the table. To do this, you can use both semi-automatic and manual arc welding.

At the next stage, you need to cut the rest of the workpiece (from the profile pipe), which then need to be welded to the side parts. The result should be a solid frame desktop.

Further, to the upper part of the frame, it is necessary to weld the pieces of the corner (to support the countertop). The master planks the back and sides of the frame with boards that first need to be cut to the size of the openings.

After that, it remains only to glue the table top from the boards, and make drawers - for this the master uses plywood. Next, the drawers are installed on furniture rails and the tabletop itself is mounted.
