If the light bulb burns out, do not rush to throw it into the bin. From it you can make a compact kerosene lamp for the home, which will help out when there is no electricity.

Unlike traditional kerosene lamps, home-made is also an interior decor. And making it is very simple.

The first step is to cut off the upper part of the lamp base. For this, the author uses a small grinder. However, care must be taken so that the bulb does not burst in the hand. After that, you will need to carefully remove all the "insides" from the lamp.

In the next step, you need a suitable glass bottle cap and drill a hole in it. You will also need to cut off the ring from a piece of metal pipe. This ring will act as a holder.

Next, you need to make a stand for the bulb - it can be made of any material: plywood, wood or metal. The master makes a handle from a steel strip, to which a ring from a pipe is welded.

Then it remains only to pour kerosene into the bulb and insert the wick from the rope. You can watch more details on how to make a mini kerosene lamp from an old incandescent bulb in your own video in the video on the website.
