Very often empty barrels are used to make barbecues. If there is no way to get a propane cylinder, you can weld a barbecue frame made of metal sheets.

If there is neither one nor the other available, then there is only one way out - to make a brazier from what is at hand. For example, you can follow the example of the author, who welded two simple braziers from corners and a profile pipe.

Brazier "box" is made of a profile of 80 * 80 mm. First you need to cut the profile pipe into separate blanks, and then the box itself is welded from them.

Barbecue design and dimensions

The dimensions of the “boxes” of both barbecues are the same: the width is 24 cm, the length is 60 cm. If necessary, the dimensions of the box itself can be made different.

Brazier legs are made in different ways: on one brazier they are welded from a corner, on the second - from a profile pipe 80 * 80 mm.

The height of the first brazier, which has legs from the corner, is 75 cm, and the height of the second is 61 cm. All sizes are conditional, if necessary, they can be changed up or down as you wish.

In detail about how the author made two simple braziers from what was at hand, you can see in the video on our website.
