On the Internet you can find many ways how to unscrew the valve on a propane cylinder. However, not all of them are applicable at home.

In this review, the author offers a universal and most importantly - an easy way to unscrew the valve on a gas cylinder in just 5 minutes.

First of all, it is necessary to cut off two pieces of the corner and drill two holes in them on a drilling machine or with a drill.

How to quickly unscrew the valve: a step-by-step process

The next step is to drill 2 holes in the stand of the cylinder. Bolts will be inserted into these holes. You need to drill the stand (the ring at the bottom), and not the cylinder itself!

Next, we attach the corners to the gas cylinder and fasten them to the concrete base. If there is no concrete base, you can weld the reinforcement to the corners and drive it deeper into the ground.

Then we put an adjustable or gas wrench on the valve, and lengthen the lever with a piece of metal pipe to make it easier to unscrew. Then we unscrew the valve on the cylinder - this is done very quickly and simply.

If you plan to cut the cylinder further, then it must be filled with water. Follow security measures and then everything will do without "surprises".
