From an empty Freon bottle, you can make a useful home-made for the garage and home workshop - a convenient and compact portable receiver. You can use it, for example, to purge various parts, household appliances and computer motherboards. Also, with the help of such a homemade receiver, you can pump up the wheels.

Of the basic materials for the manufacture of the receiver you will need a freon bottle, a few meters of high pressure hose, clamps with a clamp (a couple of pieces), a nut with a piece of a copper tube (it can be removed, for example, from an old air conditioner) and a quick fitting.

First, we wind a nut with a copper or brass tube onto a freon cylinder. In principle, in this case, you can do without a nut with a tube - just pull a thicker reinforced hose onto the valve "nose" and fix it with a hose clamp. This is at your discretion.

The process of manufacturing the receiver

If you nevertheless decide to use a nut with a tube, then after you screw it in, you need to tighten it with a key enough so that the connection is tight. The author does not use any gaskets.

Next, we take one edge of the reinforced hose, putting on it a pre-clamp, and put it on a copper pipe. On the second part of the hose we also put on a clamp and a quick fitting.

Actually, the portable receiver itself is ready. It remains only to pump it up now. To do this, use an adapter. In this case, the author has machined it on a lathe, but you can buy it in a store.
