When laying a facing ceramic tile (it doesn’t matter - on the floor or wall) it is extremely important to trim it as accurately as possible in places where there are water pipes or other “obstacles”.

To do this, you can use a special comb template, which is designed for contour copying. You can make it yourself from bicycle spokes.

Also for homemade work you will need a piece of board and a rectangular plate of aluminum (or steel). The size of the template may be different - at your discretion.

The main stages of work

The first step is to cut the needles to size. To do this, we connect them with adhesive tape, and then cut off the grinder. You should get a bundle of identical steel rods.

Further, from the piece of the board, it is necessary to make the basis of the homemade product on which the bicycle spokes will be placed. In the lower part, a groove for the rods must be made, and in the upper part, an emphasis for the fingers.

At the last stage, it remains only to cut an aluminum or steel plate of a rectangular shape (according to the size of the base), and then drill four fixing holes in it.

Then it will be necessary to lay the rods in the groove and screw this plate on top. If desired, for a more aesthetic appearance, the wooden base can be varnished or simply painted with stain.
