The first thing we do is plan the board on the planer. It will be necessary to align both planes.
After that, we cut the prepared board on a circular saw along the thickness of the future furniture board.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, we proceed to gluing the battens. We apply glue in a continuous layer, distributing it evenly over the entire area of the surface to be glued.
For gluing the furniture board, long clamps or lugs will be required.

After the shield is well pulled together with clamps or wedges, leave for 4-6 hours (until the glue completely dries).
After that, it remains only to plan the furniture board (or walk along the plane with an electric plane) and grind it. Then you can saw the shield on the workpiece of the desired size.
