In this review, the author makes a guide pad for a hand circular saw. The design is simple, but quite comfortable to use.

On the site there are two parallel guides along which the circular moves back and forth.

In this case, the platform itself can move left and right along the working surface.

First of all, the author cuts the base (platform) of the desired size and shape from a plywood sheet 20 mm thick.

The main stages of work

At the next stage, the author cuts two aluminum rails of suitable length, and screws them to the base.

Further along the entire length of the platform, the author drills holes with the same pitch. Using a circular tool, it is necessary to make a through cut for the saw blade.

Then it remains only to attach a pen to the site (its author makes a piece of a wooden round timber).

The design turned out to be very convenient and functional - anyone who works in a carpentry workshop will appreciate its capabilities.
