Even a simple wooden wine shelf can make the interior of the kitchen or living room more organic and attractive.

This sophisticated decorative element can be easily done with your own hands. In this review, the author shows a step-by-step process for making a wine shelf.

The author uses pine boards with a width of 200 mm and a thickness of 20 mm. Of course, pine is not the most noble material, but it will do for a budget shelf.

First of all, it will be necessary to cut the board into 4 equal parts with a length of 45.5 cm. The workpieces must be sanded with a grinder or grinder.

The main stages of work

At the next stage, the master makes a marking and cuts out the grooves in the boards with a step of 100 mm. The width of one groove is 18.3 mm.

After that, four more boards will need to be sawed: two 240 mm long and two 260 mm long (they are installed in the lower part).

After all the parts are ready, we tint them with a stain. Then we collect the shelf and fix it with screws. In the end, it remains only to varnish.

The result is a simple but pretty wine shelf. The sizes of all cells are 100x100 mm.
