Incredibly simple rack, which can be done in a short period of time, will help to clean up your barn or garage. It is mounted on the wall, and all your rakes, shovels, choppers and the like tool will be clearly stored without disturbing anyone.
Will need
- Boards, I took 38x68 in size, 1.5 meters long - 2 pieces.
- Drilling machine or drill with a 32 mm pen drill.
- A circular saw with the ability to set a cutting angle or an ordinary hacksaw for wood.
- Sanding block and sandpaper.
- Long wood screws.
Making racks for garden tools
So, we fit two boards to one length, if they are not fitted.
Mark up. You will need to make a hole first, and then an oblique cut. The distance between these sockets is 150 mm.
When everything is marked, we take a feather drill and drill all the holes, but not through. If you immediately make a through hole, then the edge where it came out will not be even, but with sticking chips.
Turn over to the other side.
And we drill through the hole.
We will do all these manipulations for both bars.
Now using the machine or a hacksaw manually, we make an oblique groove.
Next, we sanded blanks from the burr and paint.
Then we hang on the wall with the help of screws, if the wall is wooden. And if not, then we drill holes for the dowels, and through metal corners we attach to the wall.
The distance between the boards must be estimated in advance, given the minimum length of your tool.
After the construction of such a rack in your barn will be in good order. The angles at which this tool must have accumulated will be cleared. Everything will be clearly visible and at hand.
