In the simplest version, a minimum of products:
- high fat cottage cheese - 500 g;
- one egg;
- butter - 100 g;
- soda, salt - in a teaspoon.
Cooking is easy. We take out the oil from the refrigerator in advance so that it melts slightly. The cottage cheese should be soft, so we wipe it through a sieve. We mix all the ingredients.
And we begin to carefully rub them with a pusher. You can use a blender, with the help of this indispensable assistant the process will go faster and better. If the cottage cheese is too dry, it is advisable to pour a spoon or two milk into it. Then the mixture will become more liquid. In any case, the curd mass should turn out to be a little oily and uniform.
We shift it into a small saucepan.
We immerse this container in boiling water - in another large pan. It turns out a water bath. On it, we melt the cottage cheese until a thick, viscous mass is formed. It is necessary to constantly stir the cottage cheese with a spoon so that it melts not only intensively, but evenly. In a water bath it must be kept for 10 minutes.
This is what melted cottage cheese looks like.
If desired, seasoning to taste can be added to the cheese mixture. For example, aromatic herbs, paprika, pepper or all together.
Mix and pour into molds. It can be bowls, jars or small food containers.
We send the filled containers to the refrigerator and wait until their contents solidify well.
We spread delicious cream cheese on bread, decorate with fresh vegetables and enjoy.
When the cheese mass is still warm, slices of bacon, fried mushrooms, bell peppers and sun-dried tomatoes can be added to it. It is better for children to offer sweet fillers: preserves, jams, condensed milk. Everyone chooses the taste of home-made cream cheese on their own.
