CASKET - CASE FOR STORING SMALL ITEMS

Hello, dear visitors of the site. Today I present to you the original box - a case for storing small items, which can be made manually, from simple materials at hand. In it you can put items such as silver or gold chains, pendants, beads or beads, small decorative little things for needlework. But, in addition, there you can store earrings and rings.

To make such a case you will need:
one). Fabric (I took the inner fabric of dark red color from my old jacket) for sewing the outside and fabric of a different (orange) shade for the inside;
2). Cardboard paper;
3). Scissors, threads of suitable shades, needle;
four). Cotton or batting;
5). Lightning;
6). Beads, beads or a piece of fabric of a different color (to create a small decoration on top).
7) Glue, colored paper, compasses.

First, we cut out two identical round figures of very large size from cardboard, drawing them with a compass. However, inside each of these circles you need to draw another circle, one third smaller than the main figures in size. Jokes one of these circles to the fabric, prepared for sewing the two outer sides and folded in two, cut along the contour of the part. After that, by cutting the cardboard sample in a circle drawn inside, also make two parts from the fabric prepared for sewing the inside:

Now we sew the details of the outer sides with cardboard circles:

Having almost done it, fill the free space between them with cotton, and then sew it up:

Sew to the side where the cardboard, orange details, trying to make the fabric stretch evenly and smoothly:

Next, we sew the zipper. First, I decided to combine the two most suitable for the box in color into one:

But the closing device then jumped out of the lightning and could not enter back, which was why it was necessary to replace it:

Having sewn the zipper completely, we take a small piece of fabric to sew in the back an empty side section in which there is no zipper.
Sew this piece of fabric (if desired, you can decorate it with beads):

Then we take a small piece of orange-colored fabric, and, having rolled it up, we sew it on the back and sides, after which we bend back the sides (so that it is not visible in front of the seam). Next, sew it to the depth of the case along with several beads on the sides:

We cut out two “rings” from the satin colored paper for the frame and draw equal circles along the radius of each — bending lines — so that the distance between these circles and the sides cut from above and below is equal. Then we cut with scissors from the center to the planned bend line:

Bend the trimmed ends down and glue:

Glue both frames to the inside of the case:

Next, take a thread and string beads or beads on it:

Sew to the case on the back:

Now do the decoration. It can be made either from beads by simply sewing them on, or made in the form of a flower sewn from fabric.
To sew a flower, take a long rectangular piece of fabric and, stitching the seams on three sides, twist:

To make a jewelry out of beads, we select the appropriate ones in size and sew on:

We choose one of these jewelry that we liked more.
And that's it, our little casket - the case is ready. Its main difference from deep caskets is that it is difficult to lose any small object in it.
