Using such a do-it-yourself wrench with a lock, you can easily unscrew the bolts and nuts of different diameters. For this homemade product you will need a pair of M10 nuts, pieces of sheet metal or plates, as well as an M10 stud.

The main stages of work

We cut out two rectangular plates from sheet metal, attach a nut to them and draw contours with a marker. After that, with a grinder, we cut out two parts with a "throat" according to the markup. Further, two more rectangular blanks, but smaller ones, will need to be cut from the plate.
It is necessary to weld a short piece of bar (or the same stud) perpendicularly to a long stud, and then weld the main parts of the wrench to each other. First, we weld two plates with a pharynx, laying them one on top of the other. Then, two nuts located at a small distance from each other should be welded to the rectangular sections of the strip.

After that, we weld together the two resulting parts, screw the stud into the nuts and clean the surface of the tool with a grinder. The result is a universal key with a pressure pin. With its help, you can quickly and effortlessly unscrew even the “dried up” bolts with nuts, whose faces are lapped.

Features of use

To work with such a homemade key is very simple and convenient - we put it on a nut or bolt, press it with a pin, resting it on the edge of one of the faces, and unscrew it. For a detailed manufacturing process of this tool, see the video on the site.
