In one of our previous reviews, we talked about how to make a miniature knife out of scissors with a beautiful textolite handle.

However, then only one half of the scissors was used. You can read more about homemade goods here.

In this article, the author decided to use the second half of the old scissors, and make her an original mini knife, but not an ordinary one, but a folding one.

First of all, the master cuts the workpiece with a grinder to the desired size. Then it fastens it to a piece of plywood with a sleeve, having previously drilled a hole in a wooden blank.

The main stages of work

Next, you will need to make markings on the blade itself and drill two holes on the sides of the central hole.

At the next stage, with the help of a grinder, it is necessary to make small slots in those places where two holes were previously drilled. Then these slots will need to be processed with a drill with a grinding nozzle.

Next, the workpiece must be processed on a grinder (belt grinding machine) - remove all irregularities and make the edges of the blade. After that, the master grinds the blade.

At the last stage, it remains only to make the handle of the knife. The wizard uses textolite overlays. However, you can make a pen from wood or plywood - this is at your discretion.
