If you have a wooden packing case lying around somewhere, you can make a simple wall cabinet out of it. It can be hung in a workshop, garage or in a country house.
What to store in such a home-made locker is at your discretion. The author of the idea uses it to store personal care products. However, you can store other things in it.
The dimensions of the wooden packaging box are 35 * 50 cm (however, you can use boxes of any size). Depth - 10 cm. Board thickness - 25 mm. In principle, if such a packing case is not at hand, you can put it together from an inch board.
The main stages of work
To divide the interior of the box into two compartments, the author makes a small step-shaped shelf from scraps of an inch board. You can also use plywood.
At the next stage, the author screws the wooden lid to the drawer on furniture hinges. Thus, the door was a wall cabinet.
Then it remains only to fix the step shelf from the scraps of the board inside the cabinet, and install the magnetic lock (latch) on the door. You will also need to screw the handle.
