On the Internet (in particular, on YouTube) you can find a huge number of different home-made barbecues. However, there are also such designs that, due to their uniqueness, can eclipse many other barbecues.

We will talk about one of these models in this review. To make a stylish and practical brazier you will need: a rim, an old shock absorber, metal bars, a perforated sheet, various hardware, as well as some metalwork tools.

First, cut off one part of the rim from the disk and set it aside (this is the future bed of the barbecue). Using a sandblasting machine, the author cleans all possible places from old rust.

Brazier manufacturing process

Using washers of various diameters, we create holes of smaller diameter for blowing and pouring out old ash. In the center we weld the washer and a nut over it, to install the legs.

From the outside we weld loops and handles for carrying the barbecue. Next, cross on cross weld metal curls to create hooks, under the base for skewers.

We also clean the bed with sandblasting. We weld three pieces of reinforcement and form a cone, on top of which we weld a bolt equal to the diameter of the nut in the brazier bowl.

Next, prepare the leg. We process it in the same way as all other parts of the barbecue. Cut the lower and upper eye, weld the nut and bolt from different sides, equal in diameter to the rest of the nuts and bolts.

Making the base of skewers will take very little time. All you need is just 4 metal balls and pieces of reinforcement. We weld the balls along the edges of the reinforcement, and you're done.

Perfolist cut out the diameter of the barbecue. We clean and ready our barbecue grill. We paint our future brazier with fire-resistant enamel. A detailed manufacturing process can be seen in the video below.
