If you are fond of interior decoration, then we bring to your attention an original idea - how to make a wooden frame with lighting for a mirror. It can be installed on the dressing table or hung in the hallway.

In this case, the author uses a mirror 4 mm thick. The frame frame itself is made of 12 mm thick birch plywood. Also need more cartridges for light bulbs.

The first step is to saw off four pieces of plywood, from which the author glues the front of the mirror frame. Additionally, the boards are fastened together by self-tapping screws (connection "oblique screw").

The main stages of work

At the next stage, the author cuts 4 more planks from a plywood sheet, and connects them together - a rectangular frame should be obtained. It is attached to the back of the front.

Next, using a feather drill, it will be necessary to drill 11 holes (8 on the sides and three on the top of the frame). Bullet cartridges will be inserted into the drilled holes.

After that, the frame can be painted or varnished (mineral oil). Then the cartridges are mounted for bulbs, and a wire with a plug and a switch is connected.

At the end, a mirror is installed. For details on how to make a wooden frame with lighting with your own hands, see the video on our website.
