The main stages of work
First of all, with the help of a grinder with a petal circle, you need to grind the ax itself.
At the next stage, the author cuts the handle with a grinder under the "root". After that, you will need to remove the rest of the handle from the eye.
As a new handle, the author decided to use the old clamping tool. First it will need to be sanded.
Then the master cuts off the upper clamping jaw with a grinder and removes the moving part. As a result, only the tool handle should remain.
At the last stage, insert the handle into the eye of the ax and scald. We carefully clean the welds with an angle grinder with a petal circle.
