With this homemade appliance it is very convenient to collect apricots from a tree while being on the ground.
In this case, you will not need any ladders, step-ladders or "goats". Only a long stick or, for example, a PP pipe, to the end of which a homemade item is attached, will be needed.
To make it, you will need a 5-6 liter PET bottle, a piece of plastic sewer pipe, a corrugated hose and, most importantly, a sewer adapter 110x50 mm.
The main stages of work
First of all, the author makes a marking on the sewer adapter, then cuts out a small part.
You can use a jigsaw or a regular stationery knife for this. The edges will need to be processed with sandpaper or a file.
The author makes a “nozzle” out of a steel bar, which will be fixed in the sewer adapter. To do this, you need to drill four holes in it.
At the last stage, insert the corrugated hose into the adapter, the second end of which must be inserted into the plastic bottle.
Then it remains only to fix the adapt on a wooden stick (or pipe segment), and you can begin to collect apricots.
