In this review, the author shows how to make a home-made inertia-free hammer with a nail puller yourself. It will come in handy in any workshop.

Such a hammer can be used for various metalwork. Its main feature is that it does not bounce on impact.

First of all, it is necessary to cut a piece of the profile pipe with a section of 40 * 40 mm. You will also need to cut a piece of round pipe.

From the metal 10 mm thick, the author cuts out the remaining details that will be required in the manufacture of the hammer.

The main stages of work

From a piece of the profile pipe and two plugs, the master makes the bulk of the inertia-free hammer. Fine sand is poured inside the profile.

Then the author welds two blanks of sheet metal to the main part, which form the nail puller. We clean the welds with a grinder.

Then it will be necessary to process the hammer on a grinding machine. A flattened piece of a round pipe is welded to the bottom of the hammer (in the center). A wooden handle will be inserted into it.
