A motanka made by loving mother's hands will certainly please your daughter. A rag doll is made so simply that even a four to five year old child can do it.
What is required:
- circles of fabric. Each circle should differ from the previous one with a slightly smaller diameter. For the manufacture of a dress, it is enough to take 3-5 circles of materials matching in color;
- a rectangle of white fabric for the head and hands of Motanka;
- triangular scarf (half of a 15x15 square folded diagonally);
- povoynik from braid or just strips of fabric;
- filler for the doll’s head, for example, synthetic winterizer or cotton;
- fabric for twisting.
1. We begin the manufacture of dolls with twisting - strips of fabric twisted into a roll. It may not be done, but twisting gives the doll additional stability.

2. Roll up the ball, place the end of the twist inside it and wrap it on top with the fabric with the largest circle diameter. We fix at the bottom with a thread or rubber band for banknotes. We got the doll's head and her bottom dress.

3. We take the largest of the remaining circles of fabric, grab it with the middle of the doll’s head and fix it with an elastic band. We repeat as many times as we have blank circles. The topmost circle will be the smallest diameter. The result was a multilayer fluffy skirt.

4. We take a white rectangle, we fix it under the head. From the free lateral parts of the rectangle we form hands, or sleeves, tying the edges with an elastic band or thread.

5. We decorate Motanka’s head with a warrior and tie a bright scarf.

It’s interesting to play with such a doll, and to sleep with Motanka under the cheek is nice!
