Another simple device that will save your time and effort. Imagine: during the construction of something, you need to drive a large number of wooden stakes into the ground in order to pull the thread for level or marking the territory. This can be done in the usual way with a hammer, or you can speed up the process, and almost without straining. But for this it is necessary to make a special nozzle on the perforator and drive the stakes into the ground using it.
You need to hammer stakes on the farm not only for marking, but also, for example, if you needed to build a wooden fence or make a wooden fence, etc. Therefore, such a simple nozzle will certainly find its application.
As you know, a perforator has a shock mode without shaft rotation, and nozzles such as a chisel are already on sale. It is precisely this principle that we will use.
Making a nozzle for a hammer for hammering stakes
We take the old dull drill from the punch and with the help of a grinder we saw off its shank.
Now we need a steel ring, which in diameter will be slightly smaller than the stakes that you plan to drive into the ground with this nozzle in the future.
You can cut such a ring from the pipe, but I will drink it from an unnecessary gas cylinder.
Saw off the top.
Then the middle section.
And the wide ring is ready.
Ring cutter for metal cut a circle to the size of the previously made ring.
We weld one part to another.
As a result, we got this type of glass.
We weld the shank to the glass.
We make stiffeners from a piece of thick metal and also weld to our construction.
Boil all joints securely.
The nozzle is ready. But this is not the task - the skirt came off from the first use.
Plus, I understood empirically that there was no need to do it so long and reduced it to about one third.
And, as you see, scalded on both sides. Shock loads require greater strength.
Now everything is ready for sure!
Test
We put the stake in the place where its presence is needed. Above we put a punch in it.
We press the button and easily drive it into the ground to the desired depth.
So everything is simple and easy.
Such a thing can be suitable not only for a hammer drill, but also for drills that have a hammer hammer mode without rotation.
