It is quite possible to save time and effort in the work of installing wooden poles if you resort to this simple and simple technique. So, right to the point, what is the trick. The usual, classical method involves digging a well, installing a beam and filling an empty cavity with a ready-mixed concrete solution. Speaking in a nutshell of course.
What does a quick installation mean? The fact is that the preparation of concrete takes a large amount of time and effort. I propose to omit these steps and prepare the composition directly in the well for installation. Look what happens in the future no worse.

Will need

  • Cement-sand mixture. Everything is calculated individually. It usually takes 1 to 3 bags per post. On average, a bag of 25 kg is sold in any hardware store.

We install a wooden pole in a quick way

In the beginning, everything is as usual: we dig a ditch about 1 meter deep. At the bottom we put a stone or brick, put and align all the columns in height.

A bar on all sides, for stability, is lined with stones or brick fragments.

Level everything on all planes.

And here is the application of a non-standard method: we take a watering hose with tap water and very abundantly water the voids in the well.

Open the bag with cement-sand mixture and evenly sprinkle it on all sides of the column.

Before backfilling, I highly recommend using a respirator or dust mask for builders. It will not be superfluous to wear safety glasses so that the mixture does not get into the eyes.
At these steps, you can correct the post if it is sideways.

Now again, very abundantly pour the sprinkled composition with water. It is not worth stinging water, the excess will still go to the ground.

Pour the second bag on top.

It is also very, very plentifully watered. Nothing to interfere.

If you are building not a foundation, but a fence, then it will not be superfluous to attach the guide with screws.

After 12 hours, when everything grasps and turns into stone, you need to make a small blind area, always above ground level.

If this is not done, then rainwater will collect at the bottom and the timber will quickly decay.
We prepare a small amount of concrete and at once we make a blind area at all the posts.

A very quick way will help you make the foundation for your summer gazebo or quickly put up a fence.
