This recipe uses agar-agar, created from seaweed and has a mass of useful substances. Thanks to this, sweets can be consumed during fasting, as well as those people who are vegetarian.
By the same principle, you can make a jelly dessert of viburnum, lingonberry or sea buckthorn. In each case, you will get not only a mouth-watering, but also an original dessert that can decorate even the most sophisticated table. For the formation of marmalade, it is recommended to use molds only with a smooth surface. It will be easy for you to extract a delicacy from them without damaging its appearance. To do this, it is best to use silicone molds of different sizes.
Ingredients:
- - agar (1 and ¾ tsp.);
- - granulated sugar (60 grams);
- - water (40 ml);
- - cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger (a pinch);
- - water for cranberries (200 ml);
- - cranberries (150 grams).
Making marmalade
1. Pour the berries into the stewpan.
2. Put in the pan the recommended norm of granulated sugar.
3. Pour the necessary spices. We can also exclude spices from the composition of products.
4. Pour water (200 ml).
5. Mix cold water (40 ml) and agar. We are waiting for 10-12 minutes.
6. Prepare an infusion of cranberries for 10-12 minutes (after boiling), after chopping berries with madler (so that they “let the juice out”).
7. Filter the compote and measure out 200 ml of the finished drink. Pour 1/2 of the compote into the stewpan.
8. Add agar to it, mix quickly and bring to a boil. Cook the workpiece for another 30-40 seconds, constantly mixing the mass.
9. Pour the remaining infusion into the container.
10. Pour the marmalade stock into prepared tins and leave for 2-3 hours.
11. We extract cranberry marmalade from the molds. Enjoy natural sweets anytime.
