A beautiful gift box can be made not only of paper, but also of felt. Crafting is very simple and fast, and the result is a wonderful functional thing. You will need to find 30-40 minutes of free time and the following materials:

Felt sheet in white or milk shade with a rigid structure for the box.
Pink and lilac felt material (suitable both soft felt and hard) for decoration.
Pink, lilac threads for sewing or embroidery, needle.
Scissors.
A simple pencil.
Marker tailor.
Glue for needlework (can be replaced with a pencil Moment).
A piece of lace ribbon.

The size of the gift box is 7 * 7 * 6 cm. Before you start making it, measure the gift that you want to put in the box. If it is larger, adjust the size of the template.
1. Draw on paper two templates with the dimensions given in the photo (box and lid).

2. Cut them, put on a sheet of felt, circle with a simple pencil. Then open the box of felt material. You can also immediately draw a template on felt with a pencil and a ruler.

3. Cut the felt cover. Please note that it breaks out 0.5 cm more than the box.

4. Draw hearts of arbitrary shape on paper (or translate the paper shown in the photo). Inside a few hearts, draw curls.

5. Cut several hearts of different sizes and shapes from lilac and pink felt.

6. Along the fold lines of the box and lid, draw the tip of the scissors or needle. Then bend the parts along these lines.

7. Bend the side valve, as shown in the photo (on yourself) and lubricate it with glue.

8. Connect the two adjacent sides of the box and glue the valve. Press it with your fingers and hold until the glue dries. Then glue the second valve.

9. Connect all sides of the box. Glue the cover in the same way. Set the product aside, allow the adhesive to harden completely.

10. Lay out the cut hearts on the table. The big heart for decorating the lid consists of two parts: lilac and pink with embroidery. Take the part on which the embroidery (pink) will be located and draw a heart outline on it with a chalk pencil, as on a template.

11. Using lilac threads, embroider the outline. Make small stitches, placing them close to each other. When sewing a stitch, twist the thread slightly over the edge of the previous stitch.

12. This way you get an elegant embroidery line.

13. Attach the embroidered heart from above to the large lilac part and sew to it with a seam over the edge.

14. On other hearts, embroider curls in the same way as on the first.

15. Glue a large heart and three small embroidered ones onto the top of the lid.

16. Then decorate the edges of the lid with two to three hearts.

17. Close the box with a lid and glue a few more elements on the side walls. At the same time, make sure you get a beautiful composition.
18. Make a neat bow out of lace ribbon.
