Remaking clothes has long been for many of the necessity turned into a fascinating hobby. Thanks to him, it is easy to turn an ordinary (and often unnecessary) thing into an exclusive one.
Do you have a men's shirt that no one wears? On her husband is small, but on her son is still big. This is a great reason to turn it into a new thing for your beloved. Do-it-yourself women's blouse - it is not so difficult if there is a ready-made foundation. It needs only a little redo.
For alteration, we will use gum thread in our work. She will collect the excess fabric into beautiful folds, completely change the appearance of the model, and at the same time reduce it by several sizes. The advantages of this method are that there is no need to redraw the shirt; there is no need to make tucks under the chest. The elastic will fit the figure in the right places, and stretch on the chest and hips to the required size.
This shirt can be worn in the office. She will look great with classic pants. And in combination with jeans there will be a wonderful ensemble for a walk or a shopping trip.
Step-by-step recommendations for work

In order for our assembly to turn out to be smooth and symmetrical, we outline the line locations. To do this, draw parallel stripes under the ruler. You can do this with soap or a simple pencil. Assembly sites will start at the button location.

In this case, we use the gum thread as the “lower” thread of the machine line. Therefore, we wind it on a bobbin. You can manually, but you can use a special machine mechanism for this. This is not important. And after the bobbin is inserted into place, and the gum thread is pulled out, like a normal thread when refueling.

We sew the lines according to the marking on the front side of the shirt. The thread-gum turns out to be from the wrong side.

At the beginning and at the end of the stitch, the gum thread and the plain thread should be tied together. Nodules do tight. While wearing this place is a special burden, and the threads should hold firmly.

The yoke on the back is double. Therefore, this place is denser than the rest of the shirt. So that the fabric does not puff up here, we lay the assembly more often.

As a result, the details of the shirt are pulled together with elastic bands, and visually the product is significantly reduced.

We draw markings on the sleeves, as if continuing the front and back lines.

Lay the line also on the front side. At the cuff itself, it is also worth making a screed.

Stylish and unique women's blouse is ready! You can try on a new thing.
