Cover for your favorite book

For work you will need: yellow fleece, shreds of brown and green felt, a needle, yellow, red, brown and green threads for sewing, sharp scissors, a bright yellow ribbon in a flower, large red beads, a metal ornament in the form of a bird in a cage.
Operating procedure.
1. First you need to cut out the cover for the book. To do this, spread a yellow fleece on the table, and put an open book on top. Add half a centimeter above and below, and six centimeters to the right and left.
2. Wrap the protruding edges of the fleece so that they wrap the book cover on the sides.
3. Sew the wrapped edges with yellow threads using a buttonhole stitch. This will be the basis of the cover.
4. Now you need to decorate the cover - to make a beautiful application. From a brown felt, cut a tree trunk, and from green - a tree crown and thick grass. Place the cut parts on the front cover.
5. Carefully sew the trunk with brown threads with a basting seam.
6. Sew the crown of the tree and grass at the bottom of the cover with a green thread using a basting seam.
7. Sew red beads tightly with red threads. They will resemble ripe apples.
8. Sew the metal decoration in the form of a bird in a cage with green threads at the bottom of the crown of the tree. The front cover is ready.
9. Now you need to bookmark the book. To do this, take a bright yellow ribbon of such a length that it protrudes beyond the edges of the page. From green felt, cut two identical parts in the form of a leaflet.
10. Carefully stitch the leaves with a loop seam with green threads. Sew a ribbon at the top of the leaves. Embroider on a piece of vein with green thread.
11. Tuck the upper end of the ribbon and sew to the inside of the cover.
12. Try on the cover of a book. If the bookmark is too long, it can be hemmed.
Unusual cover for your favorite book is ready. It will help keep your books new and neat.
