So, what do we take for a postcard:
• A4 watercolor paper sheet;
• Paper for scrapbooking, especially from a wedding set in soft colors, size 15 by 15 cm;
• Cutting down a large white heart;
• White and blue flowers, only 5 pieces, one white paper rose with a diameter of 1.5 cm;
• Metal pendant two hearts;
• Satin ribbon of white color with white hearts 1 cm wide;
• A narrow ribbon of white organza;
• White beads;
• Two pearl hearts;
• A picture printed on a wedding theme;
• Acrylic stamp "Wedding Day";
• Gold and black ink;
• Double-sided tape, glue gun, pencil, ruler, figured hole punch, scissors, sewing machine.
Cut the base for a 16 * 21 cm postcard from watercolor paper, divide in half.
We draw a bending line and fold the workpiece, we get the basis for a postcard 10.5 * 16 cm in size.
Take a scrapbook paper, turn over and measure out a rectangle of 9.7 * 15 cm
We cut it out and glue the felling of the heart with a piece of scotch tape.
Glue a picture on top of the heart and apply a satin ribbon and cut it off with a small margin.
Wrap the tape and glue it. Now on the machine we sew the tape and the picture in a circle.
On the remaining sheet of watercolor paper we stamp the inscription in black ink.
We cut out the inscription, we tint its edges with gold. Glue the scrapbook paper on the postcard.
Sew the machine around the perimeter of the scrapbook paper. Adhesive tape at the bottom of the postcard.
It remains to glue the decor. We glue the flowers, organza bow, metal pendant and half beads with a glue gun. Inside the postcard we make bows with a figured hole punch.
DIY postcard is ready!
