Homemade plastic bottle handle

Sometimes, for various reasons, you have to use a plastic bottle to replenish drinking water supplies. But at the most inopportune moment, the handle at the bottle breaks off.

I want to offer two ways to make a homemade pen.
For the first method, we need two pieces of clothesline, a piece of polypropylene (PP) pipe with a diameter of 20 mm and a length of 10-12 cm, as well as a little nylon thread.

From the tool nippers, scissors and a lighter.
To begin with, we remove the broken-off handle with the pliers along with the mount.

Next, we arrange one piece of the clothesline in half, make a half ring and arrange it on a flat surface. With the second piece, we do the same and settle it on top of the first.

We tighten the rope crossing places with kapron thread.

We tie the thread, cut the ends of the thread and fuse the lighter with a flame (so as not to untie). We do this carefully so as not to get burns.
Next, we put the resulting loop on the neck of the bottle and tighten.

Getting to the manufacture of pens.
We put one end of the rope inside the PP tube, measure the height of the future handle and tie it to a knot.

The node is also desirable to melt on fire. With the second piece we do the same.
And the final touch. Pulling one rope or another, hide the nodes inside the tube and adjust the position of the handle relative to the neck.

If there is no PP tube, a piece of rubber hose or metal tube suitable for diameter can be used.
For the second option, we need a piece of iron chain 40-50 cm long, a PP tube and a clamp with a diameter slightly larger than the diameter of the neck.

Of the tool, pliers, wire cutters and a screwdriver. The chain can be used any that is available. But it is desirable that it passes into the tube. In my case, I had to flatten the chain a little with a hammer.
Next, we put the chain inside the tube, measure the height of the handle and, if necessary, bite off the extra links. We put the lower links of the chain on the clamp, and tighten the clamp on the neck.

The new pen is ready.
If the bottle has deteriorated, then the handle can be rearranged to another bottle. In the first case, to do this, loosen the loop, and in the second, simply unscrew the clamp.
