In this review, the author shows how you can engage in an independent search for ferrous metal in open water bodies: rivers, ponds and lakes.

To do this, he uses a powerful search magnet (neodymium). The magnet itself is double-sided. Traction - 390 kg. That is, with its help you can "fish out" a rather serious "treasure" from a reservoir.

A durable cord with a core with a diameter of 8 mm and a length of 30 meters is also included with the magnet.

Of course, you will not find gold and silver. The magnet is sensitive only to ferrous metal. But it can be handed over to the scrap metal collection point and receive a well-deserved reward.

Search Neodymium Magnet Overview

A search neodymium magnet weighs 2.5 kg. The diameter of the magnet is 96 mm and the thickness is 40 mm.

Before using a neodymium magnet to search for metal, the central hole must be plugged. For this, the author uses a bolt of suitable diameter.

First you will need to cut off the head of the bolt (or you can immediately take the pin). At the ends of the studs with the help of a grinder, the author makes slots for a flat screwdriver.

Then we tie a rope to a magnet on a strong knot. The author additionally fastens the ends of the rope with ties. After that, you can go in search of metal.
