Various home-made devices can significantly facilitate the work of the welder, and especially in cases where the same type of operation is required many times in a row.

In this review, the author shows how to make a home-made clamp for welding workpieces at an angle of 90 degrees, and not in two, but in three planes.

The first step is to cut off the workpieces of the required size: two pieces of a rectangular profile pipe and a triangular workpiece from the profile.

Of these, the author makes the clamping part of the structure. We weld the parts together. Welds will need to be cleaned with an angle grinder.

At the next stage, the author welds a stud to the corner clamp.

The main stages of work

Next, three plates need to be cut from sheet metal. Two of the three plates will need to be cut off at one corner.

We weld all three plates together at a right angle. At the bottom should be a triangular "viewing window".

To the base, the author welds three nuts welded together (or you can use an elongated nut), into which a stud is screwed, welded to the corner clamp.

At the last stage, you need to weld an additional clamp, which will fix the workpiece in a vertical plane. Then it remains only to clean and paint all the details, and assemble the fixture.
